April is Autism Awareness Month. Please help me raise $10000 for the Autism Research Institute (ARI) before the end of April. For every $25 donation to ARI, I am offering a FREE autographed copy of Jack's Last Promise to the first 400 people who respond. My book is also on sale now. Don't delay, order today. Together we can make a difference.

Hi Dick, I read Jacks Last Promise. Great book! Your descriptions of the team and what they went through was fantastic! I like how you wove the present with the past. I also like that I can hand this book to anyone, adult or child, without reservation. I am looking forward to your next book!

Hello Dick
?Or I guess I should I call you Richard now that we are both grown men?. Nah?. Bull had it right.
Great book.
It was refreshing going back to when I was 16????.. Those little league fields at Mullally and RP would echo the cheers, gears, and excitement that were displayed by the Marketers. We have all been in those boys? cleats and jerseys?. Temptations, frustrations, heart breaks, and challenges that were part of our growing up certainly were addressed in the pages.
Although those fields in Laketon Township have been modernized, with bleachers, food courts, underground sprinkling, press boxes, loud speakers, and even score boards. When I visit them, going to my daughter?s soccer games, I still can recall the hay days of the playing fields. Dust, sand-burs and all. A homer by big Bobo, a great slide by Bill Medley, or Bobby Bushes? slide into home, feet first??. 
Jack?s Last Promise was warming and refreshing to read. Reminding me of times when I was that best friend, or times when I may not have been the friend that I could have been. It certainly was beautiful and emotional how you kept Jack?s last promise to Nicky??.My wife and I were on the beach this weekend. I wanted to start the book and be able to finish without days in between??.When I came to pg 188 and read ?My work is done here? I knew it was Jack??..Yeeessssss!!! . tear filled eyes and my right hand raised in the air, my wife asked?..?did he keep his promise?? More beautifully than you can imagine dear, I said. She was close behind me with tears; she was finishing The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. We are trading books for next weekend.
Excellent book Dick, absolutely fantastic. Excellent reading particularly for young men, boys and dads.?
Proud and very happy for you. I certainly am looking forward to your next book.
Generally I do not get the time to read for pleasure, my work requires me to keep up on a lot of labor law, and such???..really boring stuff. I have read all Richard Paul Evans books. My favorite author.
Now, I have Richard W. Neumann, Jr. to call one of my favorite authors?.
Best of luck to you Richard??
God Bless.

Dick, I'm so proud to have known you. What I mean by that is, we change so much through the years and it sounds like even though I remember you as a really nice guy, you've only improved with time. I too have been writing for many years. I have never attempted to have any thing published but I have been told by the few people I've shared my writings with, I should concider it. I must say reading the things on your site and the fact that I knew you as someone not unlike myself having grown up in the same neighborhood and having friends in common, make me beleive that maybe I should give it a shot. Who knows, maybe my writtings could also evoke a person too tears or laughter. Congratulations to you and a big HURRAY! Thank you for your service to our country. Having a son who I call "superman" (Eric) also making the military ONE of his careers, I understand the sacrifices one makes in making such a choice. I pray you continue to succeed in all you choose to do in life. I will be ordering my autographed copy of your book and I'll be waiting for the next! Big love and thank you's for your contributions to the freedom and entertainment, you and those like you, have brought to the rest of us. You have inspired me. Lets stay in touch. Melody
